Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (I)
Move forward without reliving the past.
If you feel trapped in a cycle of reliving the worst moments of your life, you’re not alone. PTSD doesn’t just affect the mind–it stays in the body, replaying memories that refuse to stay in the past.
Like a broken leg that never properly healed, these invisible injuries can continue to cause pain and disruption in your life.
With compassionate support and evidence-based strategies, you can begin to process these experiences, release their hold, and reclaim your present.

Do you feel stuck in a movie, replaying the worst moment(s) of your life?
Most people with PTSD just wish they could move on, leave the memories in the past, but no matter how hard they try a smell, a sound, or a comment can yank them from the present back into that exact moment they would give anything to forget.
You are not alone. Post-traumatic stress stays in the body. Think about the memory as a broken leg that was never properly reset. If you continued to walk on the leg for years to come, it would hurt and probably get worse. PTSD is the same, but the injury is invisible, except to the person reliving the memory.
What PTSD(I) looks like for some people.
- Reliving a traumatic event through flashbacks or nightmares
- Avoiding places, people, or memories that trigger intense emotions
- Feeling constantly on edge, jumpy, angry, or irritable
- Struggling with trust, unpredictable emotions
- Trouble sleeping, concentrating, or simply feeling safe
There is absolutely nothing
wrong with you, I promise.
PTSD is not a weakness, it is a real and normal response to something overwhelming that happened to you. It’s your nervous system trying to protect you.
I am a Certified Trauma Specialist, let us work together to process the event, reset your nervous system and get you living your life again.
