When worry won’t quit, peace feels out of reach. Anxiety – at its core – is your body’s natural way of responding to stress, sometimes even helping you push through challenges. But when that response refuses to shut off, it can leave you feeling drained, restless, and trapped in your own thoughts. You’re not alone – anxiety affects people of all ages and backgrounds.

Another word for anxiety is excessive worry. Are you exhausted but too worried/anxious to rest? Can’t sleep, can’t focus, can’t win.
Anxiety is your mind and body’s natural response to stress. It is actually a healthy response within our bodies and many times it is what helps motivate us to get things done – but sometimes, that response becomes overwhelming and sticks around longer than it should.
You are not alone. Anxiety is very common today among every generation, orientation, and ethnicity. In therapy, we will work together to create a calm, sacred space that allows you to learn, use, and master coping skills that will help you reduce anxiety in your day-to-day life.
What anxiety looks like for some people.
- My mind is racing and it won’t shut up.
- Overthinking everything. Like the conversation from 3 weeks ago because I might’ve said something wrong.
- I feel nervous all of the time for no reason.
- My chest is tight, I constantly have an upset stomach.
- I have trouble sleeping, focusing, and/ or relaxing.
You are not alone. You do not have to go through this by yourself.
